No save data exists, would you like to create one now?

October 9th, 2006

So I go to load up IIDX Red on my PS2 and it asks me to create a save file. Well it’s kinda done that before but that usually just ended up loading anwyay by either wiggling the memory card or just waiting about a second or two. This time, nope. So I go try the other slot, nothing. I look in the browser: “No Data” So now I lost my save data for my games. Fortunately it’s just mostly bemani :P

I don’t mind losing that so much, considering I can probably get all of the unlock files easily, but what gets me is that now I lost records :P

Oh well, time to start looking for save files before FurFright so I can have stuff for everything.

Virgin code? ;)

My bemani-pun filled trip this weekend

July 31st, 2006

So I decided to take a trip to the near by mall to go check out the stores there and go eat at Matsuri Sarku Japan, since I haven’t done so in a while and I knew that this location had one. So, I started off by going to the SEPTA Route 100 (LOL PPP), and oh boy have they provided us with plenty of puns already.

So I take the Route 100 to a section known as Gulph Mills. This section I stop at runs right near an exit off of Interstate Route 76, formerly known as Route 80s. From there I take the 95 bus to the mall. Along the way what do I find?

Well first, after < 10 minutes of travel time, we went along HORIZON Boulevard. Plenty of turns on this route as well… So then we make our way to “B Street”. And what corner do we end up on? On the corner of B and V streets. The next corner was B & U (more like B4U) Streets. So it was also my assumption (which I have found to be true according to google maps) a couple of BLOCKS away, one would be right on the corner of A & V. Oh and according to the map, A street isn’t that far from RENAISSANCE Boulevard.
Not really much to say after that. Passed by some place owned by Ray, but I don’t think it was Frozen.

SSL get!

July 29th, 2006

Welp, for the first time I have an SSL certificate installed on a website that I bought rather than made through cacert.org or a self-signed certificate. And it only cost $20. Dang.

Where did I get it from? GoDaddy. Yes, GoDaddy. But what’s cool about this all is that they now have their own subdivision company named “StarField Technologies” so that bigger companies that want a low cost certificate but don’t want to pay the normal $200 that everybody else charges can do so and not look cheap by going with “GoDaddy”.

Just so you all know, this isn’t related to my personal blog site, but rather for the pages related to a small hosting company I run. The page is still being made there but hopefully I’ll have something soon. But in the meantime I’m using the certificate for webmail, phpMyAdmin and some other web-based administration packages.

I love you too, XPlay

July 13th, 2006

So XPlay did a story on the US release beatmania (which started being made first in Japan back in 1998; IIDX in 1999) and called it a “rip off of Guitar Hero”. So I wrote them something about 2 months ago. And this is what I get in my mail today
